This app isnt hard to read, easy to get through and straight forward - WHEN IT WORKS (which is inconsistent).

Won’t open

This app has never loaded for me no matter how many times I redownload it.

This App just work week days and you can not use your credit cards.

It’s great when I can just go in and pay my bill, only takes a few seconds. What I hate is that I need to update this app every single month. Every time I want to use it, it needs an update.

Log-in process blows

Site crashes or disables you to perform simple tasks like logging into this makes users have to re-register everything just to get it to function properly and then you have to manually reset it again for some reason!!! Please fix this issue!!

Greatest customer service

I been buying Toyota cars the last 12 years and is the first time I have the great customer service , from the sales person Jimmy and his boss the financial department the training guy and his boss too , I finish so late , and got out with what I need , and later on calling back because my car is smart and so updated and not the owner and got help from my salesman, THANKS SO MUCH FROM TOYOTA FREEMAN

Was told that if I had auto payment setup any extra payments would be applied to principle only and that’s not how it worked

Too many Apps

So in order to use the features of my 2025 Toyota Tundra- I need 3 different Apps! Toyota, Toyota Dashcam(which is a whole other review!) and now Toyota Financial App to make payments! Do better Toyota!

Confusing.

The app never takes my payments making me late.

I get too many messages that the app is down due to biometrics.

Payments keep getting undone

I have made multiple attempts at making payments and spare on the principal and the payments keep getting cancelled by the mobile app or something and it’s making me be late when in fact I’ve paid ahead of schedule

I’m very great full for Toyota Financial they are very understanding. When I’m having a difficult month they truly understand. And work with me on my payment. I can split the payment in half and pay half on one Friday and the other half the following Friday. Thank you so very much Toyota Financial Services. I’m very appreciative for your support. It’s not like this every month I don’t take advantage of it.

Please Make Changes To The App

Too man issues with the app and I wish you could make your payment immediately instead of having to wait and have it draft out of your account days after it’s been submitted. Love Toyota tho. Ride or Die.

Updates are out of control

Get it right the first time or find another ap developer. Inconvenient.

I can’t log in!!!!!!

Multiple times I try to login in app but it’s too hard, the app don’t enter me. Incorrect password…but I am freely enter to my Toyota app…it’s so disappointing

Customer service (financing)

I’ve never called them for anything before, but I just had a question before paying off. The guy just said “do it in the app” and continues to talk to whoever was around with him. As I’m asking my question, he hangs up…

EVERY MONTH I MAKE A PAYMENTS IT NEEDS AN UPDATE CAN YOU JUST MAKE A GOOD APP?

Adding a bank account

I had to enter the bank account information three times. The app would freeze up.

Password defect

Hello. The password feature does not work properly. The facial recognition does automatically enter the owner for access. And the password section does not enter the information. It quickly inputs the password, then it disappears causing the owner to manually find and enter the password. Not easy and reliable.

There’s too many bugs on this app. I can’t hit the back button without closing the app and going back to the main menu. Love my Toyota tho

Does all the evil things you don’t want an app to do:

-Uses your phone sensors to record data about your driving habits then sells that data to data brokers, who in turn sell the data to your insurance company, who use the data as justification to raise your rates. - Lights up the app badge to make it look like you have an important message about your car payment, then uses that focus to try to sell you a high interest subprime credit card account. - Asks you if you want to anonymize data collected about you, but if you toggle the option on, it automatically toggles on the option for them to track everything you do in the app and won’t let you turn it off.

Doesn’t Always Allow Login

On several occasions, I’ve had to delete and reinstall this app just so I could log in. When it works, it’s fine, but not always the case.

Doesn’t work with LastPass

The app is great with one exception. When I try to use my password manager with it (LastPass) it tries to fill the password in then the password field is blank. iPhone 14 Pro, latest software versions of iOS and all apps

Simply trash

1- Can’t add more than one account 2- Doesn’t work with passwords manager 3- Doesn’t allow email as user name. Garbage.

Don’t like Toyota’s MFA

MFA should go to the phone not to the email.

Can’t access most the time

Face ID never works. There is always an issue and it won’t let me login

App updates

Why do I have to update my app when I open it. I look at this app once a month and have to do an update EVERY time. Toyota needs to get their $#!? Together. Holy moly.

The app turned out to be terrible - constant crashes, errors, empty pages. 6-8 times a day you receive messages with confirmation of the code that no one asked. Support does not respond in any way

Biometrics do not work AGAIN

NO customer service

We were at our last payment and we called TFS to find out the process. We were, routed to an automated service every time.. We then contacted our local Toyota dealer as well as the dealership we bought from. No one could advice on the payoff process. We then decided to go through the TFS app instead of our regular Bill Pay so that our payoff payment was received expeditiously and in hope that the lien be released as well as our title. After paying, we received 3 different emails on 3 different days informing us that our payment had been received, we were “all finished”, our account closed. We confirmed payment via the app also. 12 days later we get an email stating our payment is late. We’ve called the customer service number again, all to no avail We’ve only had one late payment in 5 years but via oversite and turned over to collections. I’m writing so that others are aware and beware. I’m also writing in hope that someone from TFS will contact us because speaking to a live person at the number provided has proven to be 100% impossible

My payment due date was March 9 and I started to submit the payment on March 8 but the app didn’t let me to complete the process until I set a recurring payment method.
